I'm quite pleased with the finished product that I've come out with, I feel that its a nice unusual marriage of materials and there is a lot of potential.

Stitching into wood...
I've been writing a proposal for my final project on my Foundation course, and decided to look into the relationship between textiles and 3D objects, in particular stitch. I felt really excited to get on with doing some samples so I did a quick piece made from wood stitched with flowers...
This is it in the initial stages....
And the end product!
