I love machine embroidery...

I've had quite a bit of spare time recently what with it being the summer holidays, and I've recently developed an addiction for freehand machine embroidery. I rustled up a few little birdy cushions to sell in my exhibition in Southend Library.

I love searching for and using vintage fabrics because of the beautiful prints and so I've tried to incorporate at least one prettily patterned fabric in each of my designs.


It's also my aunts birthday this week and so I made her a little cushion from a picture of her dog Gracie I used the same technique for this as well.
